2009 New England Car Trip - Tuesday September 29th

Another rainy day while we drove through the Adirondacks. We stopped at the museum but balked at the entrance fee. We had lunch at The Down Hill Grill in Lake Placid, NY before proceeding to Fort Ticonderoga. The wind was blowing very hard at the fort and combined with the rain and cold we decided to pass on a fort visit. We finished the day with an excellent Marlene's birthday dinner at The Log Jam in Lake George, NY. We order the small prime rib and lobster tail. It was so much food we took half of the prime rib back to the hotel.
