2008 Cross Country Car Trip - Saturday September 27th

We got on the road at 7:26 am today. As we were heading east on I40 to Petrified Forrest National Park, Marlene suggested we do Canyon De Chelly on our return trip. After a review of the maps and the schedule we decided to only do the Petrified Forrest and Meteor Crater and then head for some place near Grand Canyon for an early start tomorrow. After taking exit 311 to the Petrified Forrest National Park, we took the park road to US180 west to I40 west to exit 211 where we took US66 (route 66) to US89 north stopping in Cameron, AZ at 4:55 pm.
