2008 Cross Country Car Trip - Friday September 19th

Today we got underway at 7:15 am and continued south on I75 picking up I50 west into Birmingham, AL, then I20 west stopping Bossier City LA. We had a little rain and more than enough trucks! Gas ranged from $3.59 to $3.79 and there were no shortages anywhere. We stopped at another local restaurant, Boro, in Newton, MS for lunch. We called it a day at 5:05 pm in Bossier City, LA. Tomorrow we have a reservation in San Antonio, TX where we will stay for two nights.

Our second lunch of the trip was at Boro in Newton, Mississippi. Both lunches have been better than the dinners! Hopefully dinner will be better in San Antonio, Texas tomorrow night.
