2007 Cross Country Car Trip - Saturday September 8th

(3965 miles driven) We were off at 10:30am today to go pickup some items to bring back to Virginia for some friends. What should have been a ten minute drive turned into almost thirty. Seems there was an Old Bill walk/run down the one route we had to the Miller House where we needed to go. When the people opened up enough to move we could move until the crowd got so thick we would have to wait again. To add to the fun a bride-to-be in a pickup truck behind us kept asking the walkers/runners to move out of the way saying "I'm getting married today and am already very late". Today is another laundry day and a bill paying day. Tomorrow after we attend the "Taste of the Tetons" we start heading back east. The "Taste of the Tetons" is where the local chefs prepare food and for a minimum charge you walk around and sample the food and wine.
