2007 Cross Country Car Trip - Friday September 7th

(3958 miles driven) We were off at 9:35am to Smith's grocery store to get some fried chicken for our picnic in the Tetons. After a boat ride across Jenny Lake, a short hike and another boat ride back across Jenny Lake, we headed for Lookout Mountain picnic area. Here we had a picnic among the chipmunks. They seemed to come out of the wood work waiting for us to leave so they could get the crumbs. The chicken turned out to be very good! Marlene said if she could get it this good back home she would stop cooking it. We got back to the hotel at 2:32pm where I took a long nap. Around 5:00pm we headed out for an art studio walk. This is where you walk around Jackson, WY visiting the art studios and sampling their food and wine. We saw some incredible art and some incredible prices.
