2007 Cross Country Car Trip - Tuesday August 28th

(1775 miles driven) Today was a fairly leisurely day. We left the hotel at 10:30am and headed for the Lake Superior Railroad Museum which turned out to be very nice. After a trolley and a train ride we continued west stopping at a nice casino in Walker, MN. (Casinos are good places to stay the night. They usually have very nice rooms at low prices and OK food also at low prices.)

Before we left the hotel I took a walk out to the end of the break water at the entrance to the Duluth harbor. This is a picture of the light house at the end of the break water.
