2007 Cross Country Car Trip - Saturday August 25th

(1213 miles driven) We got a somewhat later 9:50am start and an early stop, stopping in Sault Ste. Marie, ON at 3:00pm. We had some rain early but by noon the sun was out. Tempatures were 60s and 70s. We stopped in Mackinaw, MI but it was a lot like a tourist trap. So we headed across the bridge and towards Canada. Tomorrow is an all day train trip, 8:00am to 6:30pm. After seeing the custom's line to get back into the US, we decided to stay a second night in Canada and hit customs early Monday morning.

The trees have already started turning. This was taken just south of Mackinaw, MI on Interstate 75.
