The third day was a trip back to Arromanches to view the man made harbor at low tide, Omaha Beach, Colleville-sur-Mer to see the America cemetery, Pointe du Hoc where the Rangers scaled the cliffs to take out a German battery, Ste-Mere-Eglise to see the church where an American paratrooper was caught on the steeple for several hours and finally to La Cambe to see the German cemetery.
