The trip on the Durango and Silverton started out cold.
(6486 miles driven) Today we rode the Durango and Silverton Railroad. It was a ride along mountain cliffs to a very cold and snowy Silverton, CO where we had lunch in an even colder restaurant. On the return trip the sun came out and things warmed up a lot. We ended the day at Diamond Bell Saloon in Durango, Co where there were real cowboys and a honky-tonk piano. Tomorrow is Mase Verde, CO and then on to Canyon City, CO if we can get through the Wolf Creek Pass. Today the pass was closed to anyone without chains.
