2006 Cross Country Car Trip - Wednesday September 20th

(6160 miles driven) We got the tire replaced by 9:15 this morning and were off to Heber City, UT. It was raining and there was snow on the mountain tops. At Heber City we rode the Heber City Railroad for a three hour round trip during which the sun came out. Then it was a drive through the Utah country side to Moab, UT. which was sold out. So we got a room 14 miles down the Colorado River at the Red Cliffs Lodge. This has been the site of many movies. Tomorrow we will tour Arches and Needles. Then we will move to the Massa Verde area to view Massa Verde and ride the Durango and Silverton Railroad.
