2006 Cross Country Car Trip - Thursday September 14th

(4266 miles driven) Today started with Marlene driving us down into the Columbia River Gorge and along the Columbia River to the Mt. Hood Railroad. There we took a four hour round trip to the foot hills of Mt. Hood. After that was over we visited two wineries and then headed for the coast. We finally arrived at the coast at Garibaldi, OR around 7:00pm. We were both bone tired and will most likely sleep in late since tomorrow's train ride doesn't start until 12:00.
