(2033 miles driven) Today we took a trip on the Black Hills Railroad. Then we took a ride past Mt. Rushmore. We will actually visit it tomorrow. Then we took a quick trip to Crazy Horse's monument still under construction, but would not pay the $20 to get in. It was then on to the Needles Highway which is literally cut through the stone. After that it was the Nature Loop in Custer State Park. Saw some prairie dogs, donkeys, deer (several kinds), lots of wild turkeys and buffalo. Tomorrow it is Mt. Rushmore then on to Deadwood.
